Our hospitality specialists at Casa Rio Mar and next-door Casa Rio Mar Grande know firsthand the beauty and adventure you want to experience during your beachfront vacation to magnificent Central Pacific Costa Rica. Your concierge will arrange whatever your group wants from a large wedding with catered reception to a raucous bachelor party and a rock band – we can and will do it all for you.
We plan transportation from the San Jose airport to your oceanfront vacation rental – door-to-door. At our properties we offer a wide range of services such as “leave the cooking to us” with your personal chef. We can book any adventure tour available in the greater Jaco Beach region. We also take care of the details like ordering a birthday cake or providing a first-class videographer/photographer for beachfront weddings, special events and reunions plus corporate functions. Need a salsa band – no problem. Over the years we have hosted many different kinds of events. We always get great reviews because we love what we do AND we know how.
Once in Jaco Beach rental cars are readily available for those wanting to explore Costa Rica on your own and we can help. Or we can have a golf cart waiting for your arrival for those wanting to explore this great little beach town on your own, and of course taxi cabs are easy to call. The best of Jaco is only a short walk up the beach – the best restaurants, sports bars, casinos and night life.
Most tour operators will pick you up on-site whether you go deep-sea fishing or mountain exploring.
We are very proud of our personal chefs that have been with us for years. They will consult with you to plan one meal or all your meals – and the chef does the shopping. Our chefs can prepare anything you want from an American breakfast to a gourmet candle-lit dinner of surf and turf or a vegetarian delight.
Each of our homes is equipped with gas grills for do-it-yourself BBQ masters or let our chef do the honors. Sincerely folks — Who wants to spend precious vacation time planning, shopping and cooking meals? In the kitchen our chefs are amazing professionals and they are well worth the cost.
In this region of Costa Rica there are more things to do then people can do in two weeks, let alone one week. If you went on one tour every day you will leave some tours for your next trip because we are sure you will want to return.

Surfing and Jaco Beach go together like peanut butter and jelly. Right out the front door — 365-days-a-year — are surf able waves. This part of Costa Rica has attracted surfers from around the world since the 1960s.
We have a surfing school next door that offers board rentals plus lessons for beginner and intermediate level surfers – stand-up-paddle boarding, too.
At Casa Rio Mar or Casa Rio Mar Grande we have surfboards and boogie boards available for our guests.
We also have available to our guests two in-shore fishing boats for fishing excursions, snorkeling and diving adventures. We love to go fishing. Your concierge is also an experienced diver and he can arrange any of these activities.
For those wanting that off-shore experience — going for sailfish and marlins — we can arrange it at nearby Los Suenos Resort & Marina in Herradura.
Numerous diving and snorkeling tours are also easily booked through your concierge.
Like our chefs, our maids are part of our family. They are loyal and trusted employees. Our maids are available at an extra cost for whatever level of cleaning you prefer during your stay. Many guests prefer not to be disturbed by maids coming and going and that’s fine just to enjoy the beach, and not worry about such things while on your dream vacation.
Your concierge will be your go-to person if extra cleaning needs arise.
